Just got a Dreamcast finally and bought Sonic Adventure and SoulCalibur with it. I haven't played many DC games but I have about 20 on my wish list. What are some of your favorites?

Soul Calibur is a great fighting game, also loved Sonic Adventure 2 (Battle for the GCN is better though). Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 is probably the best on the Dreamcast and overall a kickass game. Skies of Arcadia is amazing, Elemental Gimmick Gear is another fun Zelda-style title (although one of the later bosses in the game is so bad it really hurts the game as a whole). Resident Evil 3 is solid on the DC too. Those are probably my favourites for the system overall.

Love handhelds. Live handhelds.

Is Phantasy Star Online playable offline? I remember reading that PSO Ep 1&2 for Gamecube was playable offline but I was wondering if the Dreamcast version was playable offline as well.

Yes it is playable off line thankfully. Some of my fellow Dreamcast gamers wanted to try out our own local server to run it locally as well and it looks like there are options for it out there as well. I found this site which seems promising.

That's cool that there are still options to play it online! I've heard nothing but good things about PSO and wanted to try it for years. Putting it on my to-buy list now!
