I always admired Sega's ability to be involved in some unique things and different items they released. The favorite piece I have in my collection is this

Photobucket

The Sega Channel Cable Adapter, allowed you to connect to the Sega Channel and play some games if I remember correctly. I think there is more than one version of this so if someone has one please post a pic!

Also anyone that wants to share the coolest non game from their sega collection post away!

TeeV Golf, they don't work well, but for some reason I love them in my collection.

I think the most obscure Sega controller I found was the Sega Batter-up which I have, and it's basically a controller that's a bat.

Yeah if you only have what's in the pic your missing the golf club, which always seems to be the case. There is one on eBay at the moment but it is only the floor unit also. I guess the golf club was the least likely item to survive in the lot as kids probably ran around the house hitting each other with it and hitting trees in the back yard until it inevitably broke. Damn kids, didn't they know some thirty year old guy would want it in the year 2010?

Definitely the Sega Master System 3D Glasses. I been wanting one of those for a while now ever since I bought Space Harrier 3D, Zaxxon 3D, and Maze Hunter 3D months ago but they are so expensive on ebay.

The Light Phaser gun also for SMS looks awesome too. Much cooler than the NES Zapper. I actually read an interesting article ages ago about some crazy dude in Brazil holding a woman hostage with a Light Phaser. Check the link out. It is a funny story

Weird. All of the Light Phasers I seen don't have an orange tip. I don't know why would anyone confuse a LP with a real handgun. It looks like something out of Battlestar Galactica. lol

You want realistic? Check out the Japanese Famicom version of the NES Zapper.

It's hard to find one of those that is in a good condition box. For some reason that particular accessory always seems to present it's self in a horrendous box.

A favorite of super lazy gamers like myself, this is definitely my favorite I own:

One game at a time? No thanks, I'll just push this button so I don't have to be bothered to get up and move 3 feet to change the game.

It's the Genesis equivalent to the M82.  It was part of a kiosk unit that you'd see at Toys 'R Us and similar stores.

^^^ Although, there were plans to release a retail item that would have been very similar:

The Video Jukebox was never released, and as far as I've read, no proto units have been discovered.

^That is one of the most f---ed up ads I've ever seen in my life. He looks like something out of a SciFi movie. I'd love to have one of those though.

The Sega Channel was awesome. When I got my first apartment after graduating high school in 1996, I had this installed instead of cable TV. It was so far ahead of it's time!

How long was it before DLC was available for a console again? Like, 10 years?
