Hi Sega Age,

Does anyone has information on how many Registration Cards Sunsoft use for his Sega Genesis Games?

I thought that the only game that had a unique Registration Card of Sunsoft was “Batman: The Video Game” but I just recently got another Sunsoft Sega game And the Card was identical but with 2 mayor differences:

- The Card is way smaller.
- One Card when is turned the Sunsoft logo on the back is reversed.

Here is a list of U.S.-released, Sunsoft-published Sega Genesis games:

Aero the Acrobat
Aero the Acrobat 2
Batman
Batman Revenge of the Joker
Beauty and the Beast: Belle's Quest
Beauty and the Beast: Roar of the Beast
Blaster Master 2
Bubble and Squeak
Death and Return of Superman
Lemmings
Pirates of Dark Water
Superman
Zero the Kamikaze Squirrel

Of those games these ones have reg cards:

Aero the Acrobat
Batman
Batman Revenge of the Joker
Blaster Master 2
Bubble and Squeak
Lemmings
Pirates of Dark Water
Superman

Batman has a unique registration card. Batman: Revenge of the Joker and Superman also share their own registration card (a sweepstakes card). That leaves these games remaining:

Aero the Acrobat
Blaster Master 2
Bubble and Squeak
Lemmings
Pirates of Dark Water

From what I can tell, there may be two styles of "Join the Club" Sunsoft reg card.

Aero the Acrobat and Lemmings (and I think Blaster Master 2) use this style:
s://www.ebay.com/itm/Lemmings-Seg...

s://www.ebay.com/itm/Aero-the-Acr... f:0

But for Bubble and Squeak and Pirates they may include this style:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Bubble-a... BUAAOSw3Sla3WlI:rk:11 f:0

s://www.ebay.com/itm/Pirates-of-D... f:0

If you continue to watch listings we may be able to get some additional confirmation beyond just what is currently listed/sold.

Very interesting information, maybe it can be added to your spreadsheet?

Definitely. Hopefully others here will be able to chime in for some confirmation. That's just what I found in a quick eBay search, as my collection remains in storage.

Here are pics of my Pirates of Darkwater with its Sunsoft registration card. The copy was originally obtained as a review copy (note the drill hole through the case which goes through the UPC on the case art back side). I'd send pics of Blaster Master 2 and Batman, but those were obtained without reg cards.
