Thanks for sharing. Interesting that you identified two different "Assembled in Mexico" carts - one that has a Sega logo and another with Acclaim. For now, I'll just clarify and update the current clamshell release as "Made in Japan" then add this second one that you've opened from Ballistic.

And there was no reg card tucked inside the manual?

Ahh, yes, my fault! Always forget to search inside manuals!
Yes, there is Majesco sales reg card!

A little notice about spreadsheet.
I noticed, that cardboard Tinhead has Majesco reg card as an insert.
I think it does not contain Majesco reg card, because cardboard variant was published by Spectrum Holobyte.

It's something we can keep an eye on. I don't remember explicitly researching and inputting that one

Not really a high interest title, but FIFA International Soccer is listed as having no extra items and mine has 4. This ebay listing matches what I have: http://www.ebay.com/itm/FIFA-Inte...

The 4 way play order form has a code of 820445.
The pink hint line / call to order (on back) form is code 820370
The REGISTER NOW! form is code 820317, date 2/93
The poster (If it's in the game, it's in the game.) is code 820413 and the opposite side is advert for games available at the time. code 820365A

I can obviously take better pictures if you'd like.

Another FIFA. This time FIFA Soccer '95.

EA Sports All Star Lineup is there. Code is 820510A

Add 4 Way Play insert code 820480A
Add REGISTER NOW! card code 820518 date 8/94

This listing has everything I do and everything that's listed for FIFA 96 as well: http://www.ebay.com/itm/SEGA-GENE...

While we're here, my FIFA 97 only has the "Register Now & Get Free Stuff" card. code is 820560A date 11/95

HardBall! doesn't have any extras listed but mine includes a Ballistic reg card with poster offer and four larger cards that are connected to each other.

HardBall III has 10 of the smaller sized cards. One picture includes the 10 small vs 4 large

Winter challenge has a reg card with poster offer as well. The list only talks about the reg card.

^I'll get some of these sports entries updated soon.

Instead of making a new thread as a guide for Absolute games, I'll post all of the pictures here because its pretty straight forward. Basically, there were 5 releases published by Absolute for the Sega Genesis. 4 out of 5 of those releases included a game-specific registration card. Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle also had an additional insert. Super Battletank is the only release that did not include a registration card.

Has anyone seen a US release of Home Alone that doesn't have the "Holy Cow!" text on the cover?

I'm experimenting with adding images to the spreadsheet. I had intended to do it to showcase any inserts that were hard to describe.

Since Quackshot has 5 different releases (which I briefly covered in my Canadian games thread), I've decided to add pictures of those releases/variants to the spreadsheet. Check out line 462 of the spreadsheet!

Bumping this thread up. I updated the spreadsheet last night to add in the contents of a sealed copy of Haunting that ViKiNg80 opened up.

https://docs.google.com/spreadshe...

Anyway, when I was updating it, I realized that I don't have any inserts listed for Hardball III. Does anyone have a 100% CIB copy? I looked quickly on eBay and it seems that it probably has a registration card and some accolade cards.

I might buy and open this one up if its still available in a week or two:

More thoughts
Captain America And The Avengers - i don't have this game, and i don't know is this "Collector's pin inside" is sticker or not, but some times i see games without it.
Probably second variant of the game?
Like this one for example

Yes it is a sticker, and stickers are so tough! Its so easy for them to come off or for cases to get swapped.

One idea thought, I will try to watch for some sealed copies of the game, to see if there is a sealed copy without the sticker

The only sealed copy I found has the sticker:

I've seen one sealed copy couple of month ago from Italy (but for Genesis) - it has this sticker too...

Hey Supergamboy, I know you have a LOT of experience in this "whats came in the box" documentation so I have to assume we have a variant on this one. I currently own 2 complete copies of this game and have had 2 additional copies in the last 3-4 years and in all my experience, there is no coupon printed in the manual. The 2 copies i had from a few years back did NOT have coupons at all but the manuals certainly did not have them either BUT both copies I currently own ALSO have no mention of a coupon in the manual but instead have a total separate Footlocker coupon the size of the Reginstration Card. I checked my coupon and it has the same expiration date as stated on the box so it is unlikely that I ended up with 2 of the same coupons poached from some other source. Pictures attached for verification.

That's a great find! I wish I had photographed the coupon inside of the manual. I'm fairly positive that what I saw inside the manual was a coupon, but there is a chance I quickly reached that conclusion without thoroughly investigating everything. At the time of making that post I had never seen the Footlocker coupon and might have made a connection that wasn't there.

Going back, it looks like that post was part of a mini guide on Absolute releases. I'm positive that Super Battle Tank does not have a reg card because I bought and opened a new copy just to check.

I've updated the spreadsheet with your find (I had the coupon in RED highlight as unconfirmed), and I added a note that it could be in the manual as well. Luckily, I still have my copy but it is in storage a few states away from where I am, so at some point I will be able to check it.

From what I can tell, none of the six games from DreamWorks included any inserts. I've updated the spreadsheet accordingly to mark each one.

The six DreamWorks games for the Genesis are:
- Fire Shark (1990)
- Shove It (1990)
- Trampoline Terror (1990)
- Mystical Fighter (1991)
- Target Earth (1991)
- Wings of Wor (1991)

I've started some "quality control" work on my spreadsheet. I've gone through and made sure that every row had an entry in Column B (# of releases). Using the variant columns, I've also added in the 59 known Canadian releases. I've also started fixing some capitalization errors like with "Of" or "The" has a capitalized letter.

Next I'll be going through the list at cardboard.segaage.com to make sure that all of those are properly reflected

I opened up two sealed Young Indiana Jones: Instrument of Chaos games and there are no Fruit Roll Up in both of them.
I know, that there is no any promises for Fruit Roll Up on the cartridge, but...
Just FYI.

Yeah, i dreamed of using them to complete some other "fruit roll-up" games.
