I have a Nikon coolpix I got back in highschool and the thing works like a champ. It's only a 5.1 megapixel camera but it has modes that sharpen the quality.
It's funny because people assume megapixel means better but thats not true at all. While a digital photo that contains 14 million (14 megapixels) pixels is physically larger than one with 10 million (10 megapixels), when viewed and printed at small sizes they are hard to tell apart.
